ASP / CIF
Ammunition Supply Point (ASP)
CSI operates the Ammunition Supply Point at Fort Riley, KS. This operation covers 20 warehouses spread out over 100 acres. CSI manages an ammunition account valued in excess of $23 million. The ASP supports over 200 units with a dedication to customer service that generates customer comments like “The best ASP in the Army” and “Extremely helpful, best issue I ever had”. During the last three years CSI has maintained 100% inventory accuracy, with only one administrative adjustment per year.
CSI provides highly trained and fully certified personnel to:
- Receive, store, safeguard, issue, ship, inventory and prepare reports of ammunition and explosives
- Provide outstanding customer services to authorized units and activities
- Operate the Standard Army Ammunition System-Modernization (SAAS-MOD) program to track inventory
Central Issue Facility (CIF)
CSI operates CIF facilities using the Installation Support Modules (ISM) that offers automated business practices involved in the requisition, issue, turn-in and accounting for organizational clothing and individual equipment (OCIE). We have applied Six Sigma core concepts to the CIF operation and streamlined the process to make issue and turn-in a smooth and rapid process for the Warfighter. Our CIF team can respond to handle 50 or 350 Soldiers on short notice to accommodate the ever changing needs of today’s military.
